Currently Reading...

I'm currently struggling through Room by Emma Donoghue. This book is told from a five year old child's point of view as him and his mother live in an 11x11 foot room, being held there by a man named "Old Nick." Aside from the fact that I often read fast paced stories (this only takes place in one room!), the sheer sadness of the idea that a child be held in a room, never being allowed to explore the world, had made it hard for me to read. However, I am one of those people who rarely stops reading a book once I start. I'll keep you posted.
